Pilates
Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s.
It aims to strengthen muscles while improving our postural alignment flexibility and muscle balance. Pilates moves tend to target the core, although the exercises work other areas of your body as well. A typical Pilates workout is 60 minutes.
My classes are traditional mat based pilates but we do use small props in some of our workouts. These include soft balls, bands and pilates ring.
